The Journal of the ASEAN Federation of Endocrine Societies (JAFES) is an open-access, peer-reviewed, English language, medical and health science journal that is published three times a year by the ASEAN Federation of Endocrine Societies (AFES). Its editorial policies are aligned with the policies of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (www.icmje.org), and resolve ethical issues using recommendations and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). It is a member of the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) and CrossRef.
JAFES welcomes manuscripts on all aspects of endocrinology and metabolism in the form of original articles, review articles, case reports, feature articles (clinical practice guidelines, clinical case seminars, book reviews, et cetera), editorials, letters to the Editor, brief communications and special announcements. Authors may include members and non-members of the AFES.
